This year we have selected Florida National High Adventure Sea Base (in the Florida Keys at Mile Marker 73.8 at Sea Base on Lower Matecumbe Key, located 75 miles south of Miami) June 11-18 as our summer HA camp 2008 destination!  Troop 828 has 2 crews of scouts and adults participating in Scuba Adventure. A crew consists of 5-8 people with a minimum of 2 adults per crew. Scout must be at least 14 at time of trip.  Please study and review the SPECIAL MEDICAL CONSTRAINTS from the leaders’ guide concerning chronic illnesses and weight and height restrictions.

Currently the roster is full.  See Vickie Bolen if you want to be on the alternate wait list.  Approximate cost is $1300-1500
Cancellation Policy - Cancellation of individual participants will result in forfeiture of their deposit fee and all fees paid to date for that individual if a troop certified scuba alternative cannot be found to fill the spot.

ID Requirements for Youth:  Proof of age is required when arriving at Sea Base.   Appropriate ID includes one of the following:
1. school photo ID & copy of birth certificate
2. passport
3. valid government issued ID (driver's license or DVM Texas State ID)

July 30         Deadline for signup. Deposit due  $100
Sept 10         Mandatory parents & scout meeting
Sept 17         First ½ payment due $300 + $100 deposit if not previously paid
Nov 26          Scuba Certification class payment (Cost TBD)
Jan/Feb         Mandatory Scuba Certification Classes
                     Schedule TBD - Every Sunday + one weekend trip in San Marcos
