Troop 828 Scouts

 

I want to thank all of you who helped me and the honor students in landscaping the front of the Marquee at Beckendorff Junior High workday this past weekend.  We would not have been able to complete the project in the time we did without your assistance and cooperation.  I have attached several pictures my dad and Mr Tolle took of us during the work day at Beckendorff Junior High. 

 

Again, thanks for your support and am very appreciative for your time and hard work you all displayed at Beckendorff Jr. High workday.

Subject:  Eagle Project – Service Hours

Hi to all you scouters.

As I announced at our February 21st Troop meeting, I am working on my Eagle Project.  This will be a great opportunity for you young scouts to obtain service hours you need for your rank advancement.  And any adults and older scouts that can spare a few hours would also be greatly appreciated.  My project is to landscape the marquee area in front of my school, and provide large permanent planters for the front of the school.  I will need scouts that are willing to get their hands dirty planting and landscaping.  If I have enough help, it will only take three to four hours.  If you can help me out, please give me a call at (281) 392-0537 so I may plan for lunch and number of vehicles needed to transport scouts.

The specifics of the project are:  (Lunch and drinks will be provided)

a)      Where: April 2^nd, St. Laurence Catholic Church parking lot.

b)      When:  8:00 A.M  to approx 2:00 PM  (Obviously, more scouts that help, the quicker we will get done)

c)      Please bring any gloves and shovels you may have or can borrow. 

Location of landscape project is at 8200 South Fry Road.  Beckendorff Jr. High in Katy School District.

Show your scout spirit by coming out and helping a fellow scout on his Eagle Project.
