When: August 13-15, 2004

What: Canoeing camping trip

Where: San Marcos River.  We will be staying at Pecan Park Retreat, Martindale, Texas, (5 miles from San Marcos).  We'll camp beside the river there both nights.  Saturday morning we'll travel by van or bus (with lunch supplies and very little other gear) to the put-in place upriver of the camp, and we'll travel downstream in our canoes for a few hours, taking time out for lunch and fun, and arrive back at our camp in the canoes in mid-to-late afternoon.

Leaving:  Friday Night, August 13.  Gather at the church at 5:30pm.  We'll leave at 6:00pm.

Return:  Sunday around 12:00 Noon.

Cost:    $35.00 per person
