This is our annual camping trip with Cub Scout Webelos, at Camp Strake, located north of the Woodlands on Interstate 45.  On Saturday the Webelos got to attend sessions on first aid, pioneering, axe and saw use, fire-building, and tent-building---all taught by our Boy Scouts.  The parents of the Webelos got to hear about Troop 828's scouting program.  On Saturday night some of the Webelos received their Arrow of Light awards in an impressive campfire ceremony.

Archival Information:

Cost: $8/person.  Sign the Informed Consent form and bring it to the Troop meeting on Monday, November 3, along with a check for $8/person.  (No cash, please!)

Meet at the church on Friday, November 7 at 6:30pm to load the trailer.  We will depart from the church at 7:00pm sharp.

We'll arrive back at the church at about noon on Sunday, November 9.
