Seton Outpost Overnighters

Scouts participating in camping, backpacking, and wilderness survival merit badges will be taking an overnight excursion to the Seton Outpost Camp on Thursday evening.  This overnight excursion will seek to test the skills that Scouts have learned throughout the week. Scouts must bring a Backpack or Daypack with the following items:

• Pair of long pants

• Long-sleeved shirt

• Hat

• Rainwear - poncho or parka

• Pocket-sized Rescue Blanket (thermal reflective)

• Wool or synthetic sweater in plastic bag

• Windbreaker

• 2 one-quart plastic canteens or water bottles

• Pocket knife

• Compass

• Flashlight with fresh batteries (at least 2 AA size)

• Individual First Aid kit

• Whistle with neck cord
