At this Court of Honor, held in the Parish Hall, many of our scouts received their Tenderfoot badge.  Many received both the Tenderfoot and the Second Class badge.  Three scouts received their First Class badge.  One received his Star badge.  And one received his Life badge.

The troop enthusiastically thanked Mr. Hotze for his eight years of service as Scoutmaster of Troop 828.

The hundred or so people in attendance then had a delicious BBQ meal, including dessert: several cobbler dishes cooked in Dutch ovens by the scout patrols.
