Rules for allocation of Flag fundraiser money

Important decision about the use of funds raised by flag distribution.  Scouts, you can benefit if you help.

 

Mr. Rankin says (8/31/2006):

The Committee has approved that the money raised from the Flag Fundraiser will go back into the scout’s account to be used for future Summer Camp cost.   In order to be eligible for the credit you must participate in posting the flags at 2 morning sessions and picking up the flags at 2 evening sessions.  The funds will be distributed among those scouts that satisfy the requirements for helping out.

 

It will be up to the Patrol Leaders and the SPL to ensure that the number of scouts at each session is adequate but not excessive.  I would recommend that scouts sign up with their respective PL for the days which you want to help out.  Patrol Leaders should handle the sign up on a first come first pick basis.  

 

This will begin with the Labor Day posting of the flags.  I’m sure there will be questions on this new program.  Please direct them to me and I will have the question with the answer posted on the website for all to see.
