Opening at Philmont for one scout: Troop 1631 has an open slot for a youth for a 10 day trek at Philmont. We leave by bus on Thursday, June 7th with our first day at Philmont on Sat June 9th. Cost is $870. We are looking for a Scout with backpacking experience and equipment who can get ready on this short notice. The crew leader is Hank Wedelich, and we currently have 7 youth (one 19 year old Eagle and the rest 14-16 years old). One of the four adults is also a 22 year old Eagle with prior Philmont experience. Contact Mr. Knierien or Mr. Morrow if you are interested. |
